The People of THE ICE
Lucian Rumpe

The People of THE ICE
Born from pure passion, this series aims to represent the spirit of THE ICE St. Moritz—an event that feels like a world of its own, where rare cars meet well-fashioned people amidst the Engadin’s timeless beauty. I wanted to look past just vehicular perfection and create a cohesive visual narrative focused primarily on the people and the overall vibe of this truly unique event.
Gearwise, I used the compact Fujifilm X-T5 with a 27mm fixed lens and an on-camera flash. This minimalist setup allowed me to stay mobile and discreet, ensuring full focus on the right moments and framing while creating a distinct, artistic look.
