In 2026, SIYU will organize its first joint, curated exhibition featuring its members.

The goal is to give the public a glimpse into the current work of professional Swiss photographers.

The exhibition is conceived as a biennial and will take place this fall for the first time under the title f/2.6.

What inspires photographers today? What are they working on? Which themes and stories are in focus? The focus is on works that make personal perspectives and substantive explorations visible. The exhibition is not a competition, but a curated showcase of work. We are not looking for individual images or “money shots,” but rather photographic projects, series, or sequences of images with a narrative context.

We are interested in works driven by personal motivation: long-term projects, personal series, documentary approaches, or visual research. Submitted projects should not be older than two years. There are 45 spots available for the exhibition. In addition to the images, we require a brief project description that contextualizes the work and introduces you as a person. This text will be part of the exhibition. We also ask for a rough hanging plan showing how the works should be presented in the space.

The production costs for the prints will be borne by the participants. The works may be offered for sale at the exhibition. Accompanying the exhibition, there will be an overview of all works on siyu-f.ch.
